Love Loud Meeting

Join us for our LoveLoud meeting on Thursday, August 23 at 6:30pm in our Christian Life Center. Projects will be finalized and shirts will be available for $10 each. Shirt orders will also be taken for your church. XXXL shirts will be $15 each and we will also take order for chidlren's shirts. Get connected with a project this week!

Glad to have everyone on board for LoveLOUD.  We welcome many new contacts today! It is exciting to see the "Church" come together under the banner of Christ to impact our community.  I am not sure what all you may know about the details so let us try to give you a skeleton view of the event.  We are currently planning a time for a leadership meeting with pastor's and key lay-leaders next week.  We should know details by the end of the week.

1.    At the conclusion of September 2nd services (THIS Sunday), a number of churches are challenging their church families to go to Wal-Mart to buy canned good items.  We will have a large box-truck (identified with LoveLOUD banners) in the parking lot to collect the food.  This food will be organized and distributed to those in need during LoveLOUD, Sept. 19-23.

2.    September 9^th -  We are encouraging churches to have a commitment time during their worship services. Commitment cards are being printed that can be used.  On these cards, those making a commitment can specify which team they want to join for LoveLOUD.  These cards are to be turned in at Central Baptist on Monday, 9-10-2012.  During that week a team will sort cards and distribute them to the specific ministry team leaders.

3.    September 10-16 Prayer Focus.  Each church participating with LoveLOUD will be given a perimeter around their church building to saturate in prayer.  We believe anything significant for the Kingdom will be accomplished first through prayer.

4.    September 16 - We are asking churches to consider taking up a love offering for LoveLOUD.  Some churches are using their general fund monies but most seem to be shooting for the 16th to have a love offering to cover cost for the event.  The operating budget for the event is $25,000.

5.    September 19 - LoveLOUD gets kicked off with First Priority at the Arena.  This is an annual event and they anticipate 2,000 students from the region to attend.  They have leadership training earlier in the day, BMX Christian racers, and Daniel Lucas from Morehead, KY will preach. Students

6.    September 20-22 we will have special projects throughout the community:

        -   Home repair projects, over 50 applications already!

-      Random acts of kindness

-      Block Parties at area housing projects

-      Free Yard Sale

7.    Saturday, September 22, 9-5pm, at the Arena: dental clinic, medical screenings and education, haircuts, oil changes for single ladies, lifestyle classes, food distribution, car wash, etc.

8. On Sunday, September 23, we will have a Celebration Service at the Arena. Rush of Fools from Alabama will lead in worship, Brent Crowe from Orlando Florida will preach, and then Rush of Fools will do a few more songs to send us out, celebrating all that God has accomplished as the Church united under the banner of Christ!

What is Love Loud

What is LoveLoud?
LoveLoud is a three day mission trip to our community. The vision of LoveLoud is to model Jesus Christ as we serve our community.

When is LoveLoud?
LoveLoud is Thursday, Friday and Saturday, September 20, 21 and 22. The days and times of each project will vary. On the evening of September 23 we will have a Celebration Service at The Arena at 6pm.Brent Crowe will be speaking and Rush of Fools will be in concert.

Are there projects with opportunities of service for everyone?
We have worked very hard to ensure that the leaders of every project plan appropriately to ensure that there is plenty of opportunity for everyone who signs up.

What if I cannot serve all three days of LoveLoud?
Perfectly ok. We understand. Just let us know when you can serve.

How do I donate funds to a specific LoveLoud project?
We welcome financial donations to LoveLoud. We also allow donations to be made to specific projects.

How do I donate goods and services to LoveLoud?
We welcome the donation of goods and services to LoveLoud. In fact we need them!

How do I get a LoveLoud T-shirt?
Shirts will be available beginning August 23.   Shirts are $10 each (XXXL are $15 each).  Children’s shirts must be ordered in advance.

Can children participate in LoveLoud?
Yes, on most projects, children can participate. Please check with your Team Leader for your project.

Will there be opportunities for our children to serve? 
We encourage families to serve together. On most projects children are welcomed.

Will there be opportunity for our High School and Middle School students to serve during LoveLoud? Yes, students will have many projects where they can serve
